The IAFSW Association held a collaboration meeting with Shounan Social Service Cooperative and visited elderly care facilities SHOHOEN Shonan Kusunoki, Senju kai KIKUNOSATO, and Sanjyo no Kai Happiness Chigasaki in Japan.
On October 4, 2024, the IAFSW Association, led by Ms. Suwannee Kumman, President of the Association, Professor Duangporn Hengboonyapan, Vice President of the Association, and Ms. Jintana Paraksamanee, Vice President of the Association, participated in a collaboration meeting with the Sanjyo no Kai Happiness Chigasaki Elderly Care Center. They also offered support to the Thai staff working at the facility. The organization operates with the core principles of “self-reliance, mutual assistance, and social contribution.” Each staff member is committed to individual care for the service users, aiming to make the care facility feel like home.
This collaboration meeting with Japanese employers is a significant step towards opening opportunities for our students to enter the international labor market. We discussed internships and employment with leading Japanese companies to equip our students with the skills required by employers and ensure they are ready for future employment.
