On October 5, 2024, the IAFSW Association, led by Ms. Suwannee Kumman, President of the Association, Professor Duangporn Hengboonyapan, Vice President of the Association, Ms. Jintana Paraksamanee, Vice President of the Association, and Ms. Weeranuch Kamolrungworakul, Executive Board Member, participated in a collaboration meeting with Mr. Noritoshi Kobayashi, Executive Director of Exeo Japan Co., Ltd., and executives of Aqua Welfare Group. The elderly care facility operated by Aqua Welfare Group is designed for elderly individuals with dementia, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere where residents can live together. Each unit houses no more than nine residents, who are assigned roles based on their abilities, with the necessary support from the staff to ensure they can live independently.
This collaboration meeting with Japanese employers marks a significant step in opening opportunities for our students to enter the international labor market. We discussed internships and employment with leading Japanese companies to prepare students with skills that meet employers’ demands and ensure they are ready for future employment.
