On November 7, 2024, the Association for the Promotion of STEM Workforce for the Future (IAFSW), led by President Ms. Suwannee Khamman, along with Vice Presidents Ms. Duangporn Hengbunyapan and Ms. Jintana Pharaksamanee, convened a meeting to discuss a collaborative project between Rajamangala University of Technology Isan and the IAFSW. The project aims to develop a STEM and Sustainable Environment workforce (STEM Green Workforce) that is prepared to work at an international level. The meeting also focused on presenting approaches to developing STEM workforces through the Learning Management System (LMS) to prepare students for employment in Japan, including professional development for Japanese work environments.
In addition, the meeting provided career guidance for students interested in working in Japan. Activities were organized for students to engage with the Battle of the Numbers (B.O.N) board game from South Korea, which promotes creativity, holistic thinking, and mathematical abilities.
The attendees also visited the pharmaceutical operations at the GMP-PIC/s standard Thai Pharmacy Laboratory Building, Faculty of Natural Resources, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus. Additionally, they toured the Sakon Nakhon Thai Traditional Medicine Hospital, Luang Pu Fab Suphatto, which focuses on holistic health care.
