IAFSW and Thepsatri Rajabhat University Drive STEM Education in Thailand with Support from KOTRA and Concent Edu

Lopburi, Thailand – February 27, 2025 – The International Association for the Future STEM Workforce (IAFSW), in collaboration with Thepsatri Rajabhat University, successfully hosted the Creative Math Competition, reinforcing their commitment to advancing STEM education and introducing innovative learning tools to Thai students and educators.

The event was designed to promote STEM learning through interactive methodologies, engaging students and teachers in hands-on experiences. Representatives from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Concent Edu were invited to observe the implementation of Korean EdTech solutions in Thailand, as part of IAFSW’s efforts to explore international best practices in STEM education.

Innovative Learning Through Gamification and Technology

A key highlight of the competition was the “Battle of the Numbers” (B.O.N.) board game, developed by Concent Edu, a South Korean EdTech company recognized for its expertise in gamified learning solutions. Concent Edu specializes in transforming complex mathematical concepts into engaging and interactive experiences, utilizing AI-driven methodologies to enhance student learning.

Throughout the event, students applied STEAM-based learning strategies, strengthening their problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking skills. The competition also provided educators with insights into the potential of gamification in enhancing student engagement and performance in STEM subjects.

Strengthening Educational Partnerships

During the event, IAFSW, Concent Edu, and KOTRA representatives held discussions with Thepsatri Rajabhat University’s leadership to explore potential collaborations in leveraging educational innovations to support Thai schools.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanya Barndt, President of Thepsatri Rajabhat University, highlighted the university’s mission in developing teacher education programs and supporting its network of schools across Lopburi, Saraburi, and Singburi. She emphasized the need for advanced teaching methodologies and educational innovations to empower future educators.

Mrs. Suwanee Khamman, President of IAFSW, introduced IAFSW’s AI Bootcamp, STEM Camp, and STEM learning resources, which have been developed through collaborations with leading South Korean EdTech networks. She emphasized that these initiatives align with KOTRA’s mission of fostering innovation and international cooperation in education, providing Thai students with access to cutting-edge learning tools.
