The IAFSW Association held a collaboration meeting with Shounan Social Service Cooperative and visited the elderly care facility of Social Welfare Corporation Sankoukai in Japan.
On October 5, 2024, the IAFSW Association, led by Ms. Suwannee Kumman, President of the Association, Ms. Duangporn Hengboonyapan, Vice President of the Association, Ms. Jintana Paraksamanee, Vice President of the Association, and Ms. Weeranuch Kamolrungworakul, Executive Board Member, held a collaboration meeting with Mr. Keisuke Matsuda, Executive Director of the Social Welfare Corporation Sankoukai. The Sankoukai organization provides specialized elderly care, founded on the principle of being a “residential facility.” The organization’s fundamental role is to support elderly individuals in need of care, ensuring they can live happily and confidently by firmly adhering to basic principles and providing specialized care.
This collaboration meeting with Japanese employers is a significant step in opening opportunities for our students to enter the international labor market. We discussed internships and employment with leading Japanese companies to prepare students with skills that meet employers’ demands and ensure they are ready for future employment.
