On March 7, 2025, the Institute for the Advancement and Development of STEM Power (IAFSW) was honored to be invited as a speaker at the Buriram Reform: Smart Camp Smart Classroom Demonstration. The event, held at Buriram Kindergarten School in Buriram Province, showcased the “Smart in Knowledge, Smart in Thinking, Smart in Action” classroom concept.
At the event, it was an honor to have Police General Permpoon Chidchob, the Minister of Education, preside over the opening ceremony. Mrs. Kedsatit Suphavanish, Deputy Secretary-General of the Basic Education Commission, presented a report on the objectives of the event, which focused on developing skills in STEM education, English and Chinese communication, financial literacy, and health knowledge through learning experiences that encourage children to think boldly, act decisively, ignite their dreams, and be inspired. This was achieved by emphasizing a three-tiered learning process, namely:
- Smart in Knowledge: Knowing what is essential and being open to new information.
- Smart in Thinking: Engaging in logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
- Smart in Action: Putting ideas into practice and creating beneficial outcomes.
The Minister of Education also toured the event, which featured seven distinct learning stations designed to give both students and teachers hands-on practice of various skills.
