Executives from the Association for the Promotion of STEM Workforce Development for the Future (IAFSW), led by President Ms.Suwannee Khamman, Vice President Ms.Duangporn Hengbunyaphan, Executive Director Ms.Wiranuch Kamonrungworakul, and Public Relations Advisor Ms.Chalida Narongsirikul from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, visited Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) to further their collaboration.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assoc.Prof.Dr.Khosit Sriphuthon, President of RMUTI, and Assoc.Prof.Dr.Samnao Saowakul, Vice President of Surin Campus.
The visit included the following activities:
- Special Lecture: Participated in a lecture on “Preparing to Develop Student Potential for Future Careers: Learning Japanese for Working in Japan,” aimed at both teachers and students.
- Site Visits: Explored the operation site, laboratory, and science testing center at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology.
- Skill Development Training: Engaged in activities using the Battle of the Numbers board game to enhance skills for students in the Faculty of Industrial Education.
- Program Presentation: Introduced the CODMOS program to lecturers and students in the Computer Technology Department, with plans for students to experiment and integrate it into teaching designs for children, as part of research studies on skill development using learning media.
This meeting and visit aimed to enhance professional skills for students, prepare them for future employment in Japan, and promote cooperation in research and innovation related to health and elderly care.
