Cartesian Divers

This toy works in the same way as a submarine ? When the container is squeezed, it compresses the air in the ?diver? causing water to enter, thus making it denser and therefore it dives. It can then resurface by releasing the pressure on the container so that the water is pushed out, making it less dense. It is made from simple household objects, but the diver itself needs to be carefully assembled.
