STEM Ambassadors
(Mentors)

STEM Force's STEM Ambassadors are enthusiastic volunteers from various STEM-related careers who serve as a vital link between the world of STEM, employers, and the future workforce. Their primary role is to inspire and engage young people in STEM subjects, opening doors to a world of opportunities and potential STEM careers

These STEM Ambassadors bring their passion and commitment to encourage students' interest in STEM subjects. They not only inspire young minds but also support teachers by showcasing real-world applications of STEM in industry and research. By doing so, they contribute to their local communities while enhancing their own professional skills, experience, and confidence.

The STEM Ambassadors engage in a wide range of impactful activities, including giving careers talks, assisting at STEM fairs, providing technical advice and support for STEM projects, discussing cutting-edge developments, mentoring students on projects and work placements, facilitating STEM camps, supporting after-school STEM clubs, judging STEM competitions, networking with students, parents, and teachers, conducting practical STEM experiments and demonstrations, and helping students with mock job interviews.

To ensure the effectiveness of these STEM Ambassadors' experiences, we provide capacity building for STEM teachers, STEM employers, and STEM Ambassadors themselves. We offer guidance and support materials for teachers, STEM Ambassadors, and STEM Ambassador trainers. You can see STEM Ambassadors being trained both in the UK and in India, programs for which one of our Senior STEM Specialists served as a lead.

Through the involvement of STEM Ambassadors, we aim to inspire and empower young learners, fostering their interest and passion for STEM subjects, and guiding them towards successful careers in the STEM fields.
